Barbie Martz began her real estate career over 20 years ago after moving from Rochester, New York to Southern California. She has worn many hats thru her real estate experience, from mortgage loan processor, real estate sales person, rehab construction manager, and executive assistant to a top producing realtor. The old saying goes….” you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl”, holds true for me. After being raised in south eastern Minnesota, I became a resident of Aitkin County in 1969. I truly fell in love with the pine trees and lakes, something we didn’t have on the farm.
After raising my two daughters and working in the bar and restaurant business for over 30 years, it was time for a change. I’ve always worked with people and enjoyed it, so when I was offered a job in real estate with CENTURY 21 Twin Lakes Realty I decided to give it a try. That was a very good decision. Each day is a learning experience. I love the challenge of meeting new people and helping them find the right property, or assisting them in selling their property. As emotional as it can be sometimes, it is always rewarding to accomplish a successful sale.
